About RII
What is Responsible Investment Imperial?
Responsible Investment Imperial is a group of students working to raise awareness of responsible investment in Imperial College and the UK through organising events and working with a network of student societies under the Positive Investment umbrella. RII was founded by Nick and Sarah in 2017, two students of the first Cohort of the Climate Change, Management and Finance Programme at Imperial College Business School.

Shuen has a strong track record in the sustainable finance and impact-investing sector with a focus on climate change and real asset strategies. She has over 20 years of experience in asset management and capital markets, having established investment funds in emerging asset classes and a global network across Europe, Asia and Americas.
Panel 1: What are Sustainable and Impact Investing?
Simon Howard joined UKSIF as Chief Executive in May 2013. Simon is a former Chief Investment Officer who has over twenty years of investment management experience.
During a City career that started in 1990, he has been Group Chief Investment Officer at Liverpool Victoria, Head of Investments at Friends Provident and Managing Director at 3i Asset Management. Prior to joining UKSIF, Simon was Head of Sustainable Financial Markets at the charity Forum for the Future.
